THE POWER OF TELEVISION
TV - A BLESSING OR A CURSE?
A great source of entertainment?
A poor influence in regard to crime?
A source of useful information?
A time waster?
A good relaxer?
Too much interruption to programs with advertising - frustration?
A great child minder?
Good for family unity?
Poor selection of program times?
More of a curse me thinks - lol

Pro television is evil and informative and useless and compulsive and mostly wrong but useful ... I never had a TV until about 10 years ago, now it's a time waster and a film watcher and a PS3 viewer

I don't watch tv much at all. However, just to have it going in the background sometimes is good company. I don't like being alone in too quiet a home. I do enjoy watching chosen programs that way I like to think I am not wasting time just sitting in front of the box! For me TV is a blessing...

I always prefer a musical background as I deplore all the visual and extra loud audio TV advertising.
Our Jukebox which I hope you are enjoying, is the perfect choice - for me anyway.

I have Our Jukebox in the one room only, the tv also has a music only station which is very good to have going in the background for company..

If by chance you mean C4 TV I don't consider that 'music' of any interest to me. We all have different tastes of course. I set my Jukebox on repeat and that suits me really fine as a background.

With me winning for a change it seems that there must be a mystic link between us - or was it just good luck that I guessed your source of entertainment. Get your jukebox properly set up beside you and you will never suffer the miseries of TV C4 ever again. The Tribute programs are ideal. We really enjoyed 'A Tribute to Jim Reeves.'

The chanel I was referring to is one which is paid extra for, and is on 402 and offers a selection of country and western, jazz, etc whichever catches your fancy. It does appear to be an ok chanel to listen to very good music of choice...

Unfair - I can only afford free viewing. Delete your jukebox and I'll continue to enjoy mine. If it's free it's the best! lol

Hardly watch the old tv these days but I think its more down to lower quality broadcasting but I still sit down and watch DR Who with the kids just like I did with parents.

I must admit that I watch TV occasionally - very occasionally and always very selectively. Too much time wasting advertising and constant repeats of cheap programs.

I like to watch documentary, especially nature, animals, history and literature. I am watching only on Evening. I think for most children is watching TV a hobby, they should go in nature or playing with their friends.

Yes, with TV requiring listening as well as viewing normal relationship conversation ceases and the relationship certainly suffers.
