THE THREE BAD ONES.
In our household the 3 most unpopular chores are: laundry - cleaning windows - vacuuming.
Which do you reckon are your 3 most unpopular household chores?
Odds and ends

Hi skip...
Um.......I cant really answer...because I Love what others call chores...Why? because when I do the things that Need doing and are there nearlly everyday I see it as an accomplishment...not a chore...This is how I get through the barrier of mindset thinking that cleaning house is a 'CHORE'...to me it is not...it is an achievement.
Silent Blessings,

You are to be congratulated for seeing good purpose in what you do day after day.

Anna - Amazing that you love cleaning the toilet and all the other chores that so many despise - or are you completely blind to them? lol
skip2468 [Member] 14/10/08 @ 02:26
We always wondered what your first love might be....... lol

Any Form of DIY.
Ironing.
I cannot think of a third!
skip2468 [Member] 13/10/08 @ 18:45
Maybe you just attend to them regardless - lol
lostjohnny [Member] 13/10/08 @ 18:59
Thats the way of it!
Or I pay someone proffessional for the Home Jobs.

Too expensive. One can't spend money extravagantly and save it at the same time.

.... I think don't understand what your are talking about .....laugh! :-))))
skip2468 [Member] 13/10/08 @ 18:47
A good way to be maybe but I'm afraid that under those circumstances we could never live in the same house - lol
I would nag you to death unless you killed me first!
Ironing would be top of my list..Followed by Dusting...Then washing up!!...Think i need a maid
skip2468 [Member] 13/10/08 @ 18:50
Now there's an honest response and no doubt you could list many more.
A maid? Why not - why be a slave in your own home?
Inday [Member] http://www.IndayLet.blog.co.uk 13/10/08 @ 18:53
.... that is the problem .... it is so nice if you have somebody around whom you can talk to and do all those things that I don not understand .... laugh!
skip2468 [Member] 13/10/08 @ 18:57
What about making that your next New Year Resolution?
Even a boarder may meet your needs - lol
Inday [Member] http://www.IndayLet.blog.co.uk 13/10/08 @ 19:31
That's a good idea .... though .... I also love cleanliness and orderliness .... I just do it in times that I like to do it .... as you have said "why be a slave in your own home" .... there will always be better days and means, it is just a matter of the right time and organizations :-))) as of the moment I am trying my very best ....lol
skip2468 [Member] 13/10/08 @ 21:08
Cleanliness and orderliness - we think alike. lol
AmethystLady pro 13/10/08 @ 19:23
I guess it must be all the chores according to everyone else in my household as I'm the only one who does any most days! lol
skip2468 [Member] 13/10/08 @ 21:13
Truly our hearts cry for you, having to face up to all those chores day after day.
We sincerely hope that the wonderful work that you do, does at least bring you some well deserved joy and satisfaction.

Mine (nobody else does anything round here) are: putting things away; grating cheese; removing dead mice from the trap under the sink - they keep coming, I no longer know what to do; a little sign saying 'danger', perhaps?
skip2468 [Member] 14/10/08 @ 02:17
What about a cat? With a cat no more mice at your place.

tidying up. Sorting through months of everyone else's mail, washing up (confession time - mostly my husband washes up
I just hate it so much).

Understood. When we shifted house last year we bought a brand new dishwasher, our first ever.
Pam might kick me out but certainly not the dishwasher. lol
