What has happened.

We still have the oil leak. As arranged by phone, I had the car to the garage very early in the morning, only to learn that the sole mechanic was off work sick. So home I came oil leak and all. We'll hope for better luck next week.

Pam, my better half was admitted to the hospital as arranged. Her home preparation was not very pleasant. Within a few hours she had to drink litres and litres of water along with two bottles of nasty tasting goo! To add to the discomfort she had had nothing to eat for more than 24 hours. However we have our fingers crossed that with the hospital treatment she will be feeling much better soon.
