My family are more Dame Ellen McCarther - solo sailors. Death of my parents was sufficient to drive us further apart. Still see and speak to my sister, my brother is estranged from us, and his own kids now....

Yes, we're more or less in the same boat. I had NO family life till I married. Since then 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. We have been a very busy crew! LOL.

I agree - it doesn't matter how small the crew is, as long as they're all sailing in the same direction!
