Cat or Kitten.

by skip2468 @ 22/07/08 - 10:04:34 am

The question is :

Having shifted house should we have a pet cat/kitten once again?

Over the years too many of our cats have ended up the same way - killed on the road. Pam my better half, seems resigned to the situation of not having a cat at the moment, but probably only
because I have managed to delay what may prove to be the inevitable.

Our new home is in a very light traffic area with little chance of any significant increase. However, cats will scratch up the very well kept gardens, they do encourage neighbouring cats to trespass and they require good care and expensive vet treatment.

I am still wondering how much further resistance I should show to having another cat /kitten.

I can think of loads of reason why you shouldn't get a kitten/cat, but once you look into the kitten's eyes you'll be hooked and you won't be able to think of any of those reasons at all.

Thank you for presenting me with an idea that will certainly be considered.

Personally I'd rather share my life with a cat than flowers. Plus, if we never allowed ourselves to become attached to anything for fear of losing it then we'd all be very lonely. Get a Kitty - you know you wannoo.

Get a kitten and plant some catmint for it to roll in. Then console yourself with the fact that it will never do as much damage in the garden as a fully grown St Bernard ;)

The perfect solution that I can't argue against. Now in deep thought ?????????? - LOL.
