Boom Boom Boom

Last night we were struck by two major thunderstorms. In this region
alone there were over 1500 lightning strikes.

Whoa! That's quite a bit.

Thank you for all your comments. I shall write as soon as I am over with this work over I have on my head these days. :)

Understood and make sure that you blow all your birthday candles out with one sweet puff.

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY - AND A MIGHTY BIG HUG

Thank you so much Skip! *Hugs back*

I had a lovely lovely time yesterday. Spent my birthday with family after four years. :)

Oh dear, you do remember to unplug the computer and other electric devices, do you?

Sometimes - but stupidly I can't be bothered at other times. See how silly I am. I did disconnect my outdoor radio aerial.

I am probably taking too much for granted where we now live as we have underground power and telephone services. Yes, the chances of a lightning strike are less but still possible.

I promise, with your reminder, to be a very good boy in future.

Pictures!!! Did you take any pictures for us to see?

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry but no photos. The thunder storms raged from about midnight till early morning and I stayed well tucked up in bed.

That's a shame... you scare-dee-cat!!!

I was tired - LOL.

Germany or Spain?

It'll have to be Spain, as I lived there for nine years and my main Spanish team is Valencia.

Another thing I love - thunderstorms! I find them exciting and thrilling (as long as I don't have to be outside in them). Although it can be a bit annoying having to listen loud thunder over hours and hours on end, while what you really want to do is sleep.

Good to be a retiree then, isn't it? You can catch up on any missed sleep during the day :)

Not knowing the possible outcome is the worst part.
