Odds and ends
This is a sunset photo taken from our elder daughter's ( Beverly Anne ) home on Western Heights.
All the bright patches are part of the sunset sky, covering a very great expanse.
There is no better artist than the Great Creator

Humanity has evolved in such a way that human brains find this kind of sight pleasant. Humans who disliked the kind of sight that we, who are the survivors, like were less likely to survive. They have gone, alas. It really is that simple, and I understand why you think a deity is needed to explain all this, but none is.
None of this was created, it just happened. Once you can get that, it all slots into place. Don't trust me, think about that. Peace and love, from the Walrus.
