Over the past fortnight blogging here has been as dead as a dodo. Have you all gone into hibernation on the other wet and freezing side of the world?
Remember that Spring is just around the corner. The birds will be chirping as merrily as ever and all the flowers and blossoms will be waiting to greet you.

I've never known it to be so dead since I came here in 2005. However, you have kept the pot boiling - lol.
dont know about boiling.....maybe just coaxed it into a brief simmer.....

Spring is certainly just around the corner - the snowdrops are in bloom here and even a small daffodil has chanced to bloom.
I tend to blog about once a day anyway, but have been plagued with very poor connections in the bad weather... sometimes it's hard to get online at all!

Everything seemed to grind to almost a complete halt at the time of the passing of Sir Ed. For a while I thought that it was all a mark of respect.
We hope that the poor connections are but a faint memory very soon.

I was genuinely sorry to read of Sir Ed's passing - a true gent. And I was rather embarrassed that our Royal Family (which travels at taxpayers' expense at the drop of the proverbial hat) did not see fit to send anyone to his funeral. Very mean of them, I thought.
I don't know about the others, but I have a job, a house and a family to take care of, so I can not be on here all the time!
