Casually reading blogs and comments at random can be quite enlightening.
Clearly birds of the feather flock together and this is probably a good thing.
Throughout life one feels much more comfortable when in the company of good friends.
There could be exceptions of course - or maybe not - lol

You are right. Some of course rely almost completely on foul language to communicate, which may be looked upon as a very sad state of affairs.
Most of course behave in a normal way and achieve much more.

I do find a lot of foul language off putting. For a start, it loses its impact. There are times when people swear but if you swear all the time, it becomes the norm. But as you say, most people do behave in a normal way.
I don't think bloggers should always agree, nor is there anything wrong with ranting, but I'm not sure that constant arguing, ranting, or general whining is really all that good for us. But that's just my opinion - there are probably plenty of people who disagree and the good thing about Blogland is that they can mix with others who feel just as they do.

Yes to each his/her own. I include both sexes as it really surprises me just how many our fairer sex stoop so low in the public domain. There was a time when ladies never swore in public. Now there seems to be no boundary for some.
The very large majority of bloggers will no doubt continue to conduct themselves properly in public and that is really all that matters. The small minority are easily avoided.
Birds of a feather stick together? Do you think? I've always been struck by the diversity of my blog friends. Or am I deceiving myself? Ha! That wouldn't surprise me!

A good point. Yes, controlled diversity is a very desirable quality and it is very obvious with the majority of blogs.
Well, I am not sure if I understand what you are saying here... My English is not so good when it comes to sayings etc and I don't know what "birds of the feather flock together" means. Do you mean that we should keep to those that are like ourselves maybe??

Yes - those who have similar interests and possibly similar moral standards. Friends whose company one fully enjoys.

Since starting to blog, I've come across a nice assortment of good people.
It's actually made me more optimistic about the state of society in general.
I generally hold most people in quite a low regard.

I agree. I know there are probably people out there who get a bit of a kick out of arguing and nit picking, but personally I'd rather not spend my life fighting with others all the time. Who's to say I'm right anyway? I always believe agreeing to differ is a big part of growing up!
