What do you think about smiles?
Are smiles contagious?
Are smiles all that they are 'cracked' up to be?
'A smile a day keeps our worries away'???

Every day may not be good but a smile makes it better ;o)
Tarquin and Jessica - Very true.
You can't smile on passport photos though cos it means you might be a terrorist or something like that. When I was a receptionist everyone said how nice it was to see my smile, and my youngest son's friend said he liked me because I always smiled at him. I never thought I was particularly smiley, but I must do it without realising it. Some smiles are scarey though.
Can't smile on passport photos, now we've being told to answer our telephone in a monotonal voice (i don't do monotone!) cos it's deemed inappropriate to sound cheerful in our line of business!fg's sake not as if i work in a funeral parlour. You can tell if someones smiling on the phone y'know.
Smiling is contagious,i make a point,if i'm walking down the street and see someone walking on their own (esp.an elderly person) to smile and say hello, they always respond, and it makes me feel better.Too much doom and gloom in the world:-)
Marigold and Nessa- I really love the warm feelings that you both convey through your very touching comments. I feel I want to smile.......................May I? BH/KOS
Smiles are just better by far...plus they are healthier for us humans.

Update on smiles;may have changed mind about smiling!waiting with groceries for taxi, when guy tripped in front of me.I quipped 'enjoy your trip'at precise time time he said'i've just fallen foryou' (both corny i know). He then proceeded to circle the town for20 mins leering through the window at me.Feeling uneasy and stalked by now....Got told off by friend for smiling and talking to strangers! So i don't know.....
Smile away Skip - but just make sure you can run very quickly should the need arise!
CasaB and Nessa - Quite correct regarding the importance of smiling. Never smiling might be compared with having no clothes, both leading to complete misery. If not believed, please compare the two. LOL
Nessa .........When I trip and 'fall for you' why should I run quickly? lol
....Cos 'they' might have let me out without my Hannibel Lecter mask that day!
Oh! I promise to run very fast, never to return nessa!
Smiles are grand....will always fall for someone who's a smiler....
A really good policy Helly100 - wishing you lots of smilers.BH/KOS
